Rat Adoption Application

  • On adopting animals from STAR, you will be asked to sign an Adoption Contract which you can preview here. Please ensure you are happy with this before proceeding.
  • Rats are prone to health problems such as tumours and respiratory infections. Treatment can be expensive and you may need to look around to find a vet experienced with treating exotic animals. A lump removal, for example, can cost in excess of £50. You need to be sure that you are willing and able to cover these costs should your rats fall ill.
  • STAR is reliant on donations to continue our work. We do ask that you make a donation when adopting from us. There is no fixed amount but we appreciate anything you can spare.

Please note - we have had some technical problems with the form recently. If you have any difficulties please Email Us
